Make your own law

I've been making my own law for years. Log law potentiometers are becoming difficult to get. So, if you want to make one from a linear law potentiometer, add a resistor with approximately 20% of the value in ohms, of the pot. This resistor is a shunt, but as you see from the interactive diagram, it works perfectly well. The only restriction on every circuit, is that there is always a 1K ohm value at the top of every potentiometer. For this reason, I have included a switch. This switch allows you to bypass that 1k part of the potentiometer. In this example you can see a 50k ohms linear pot, with a 10k ohm shunt. For more information go to: https://yoofab.com
