Power failure safety light

The light bulb and the LEDs turn on when the 120 volts wall outlet fails (switch off) , it turns on from the 9 volt battery. There is a delay for the smoothing capacitor the charge up. It turns it back off when there is 120 volts (switch on).

Very nice circuit! With a chargeable battery it make a very nice safety device. Thanks for sharing
