Does anyone know how plasma would work in a magnetic field?  The large capacitor discharge gives the high speed push.

In Popular Mechanics of April 1981 on page 126 and 127 an article of "rail gun" or magnetic gun is mentioned.  If projectile speeds of 150 kilometers per second or 93.2 miles per second would not help hunting most game animals as little would be left.
